CAMP COSTS AND LOCATION FOR 2007
Cost $389.00 per session for a room that is not air-conditioned
Cost $409.00 per session for an air-conditioned room
Cost $350 per session for a day camper (you get to deduct $39.00 for room)
Deposit $100.00
Grades 4 through 12 are eligible to participate
Grade means the grade you will be going into next year.
Camp sessions begin on Sunday (enrollment starts at 12:00 a.m.)
and ends on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.( camp awards and closing at 4:30 p.m.)
The residential camp prices shown above include all camp expenses, including
room and board. Send or call for an application or get an application
off this website. Send application in as soon as possible to get the week
of your choice. Also send in early if you are interested in an air-conditioned
room.
Air-conditioned Rooms
The gyms have been air-conditioned for several years. For the first time
Earlham has offered us an air-conditioned dormitory.
Air-conditioned rooms will be on a first come first served basis, so if
you are interested you will need to get you application in early. The
air conditioned room is more because of the added cost to us.
Savings This Year To Camper
We have changed the format of the days in order to save the campers money.
Instead of having an increase we have a decrease this year. By making
the days extended a little longer in the evening and cutting off Thursday
morning which was just our awards program, we are still getting all of
our teaching and activities into this schedule.
The eliminating of Thursday morning has not changed any of the number
of lectures, drill sessions or one-on-one instruction. The program we
have run for 32 years is the same; plus the campers get to play nine games
during the week. They will be dismissed at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday instead
of Thursday morning. We will still have an awards program at closing.
More Than One Player Sent From Same Family
For families sending more than one daughter or son you can take off $15.00
from the balance due for each child. ( For example: sending three from
one family can take off $15.00 for each child for a total of $45.00 ).
The deposit is still $100.00.
Camp Information
The Dick Baumgartner Basketball Camp will be at Trueblood Fieldhouse ,
Earlham College, U.S. 40 West, Richmond, Indiana. A map of the location
of the fieldhouse and college will be sent with confirmation. Richmond
is located 60 miles East of Indianapolis and 30 miles West of Dayton,
Ohio.
