Air Transportation to Camp
We have several players who fly into the Dick Baumgartner Shooting Camps. Most of the players come by way of the Dayton Airport and not the Indianapolis, Cincinnati Airports.Times to remember:
- If you are going to be late, please call the camp office at least the day before. Phone number: (765) 939-2500
- Richmond Indiana is on Eastern Standard Time and observes Daylight Savings Time
- Each week camp enrollment starts on Sunday at 12:00 PM and goes to 2:00 PM
- Each week camp ends at 5:00 PM on Wednesday

It is better to fly into the Dayton Airport because it is only 35 to 40 minutes away from our shooting camp at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana.
It is also easier and less expensive to get transportation to camp and back to the Dayton airport. Most players take a cab from the Dayton Airport or make arrangements with the cab companies in Richmond to pick them up.
The Dick Baumgartner Shooting Camp provides transportation back to the Dayton Airport There is a fee for taking you back to Dayton, but it is less than the cab company would charge.

Indianapolis International Airport

It is not as convenient to fly into the Indianapoilis Airport because the airport is 90 to 95 minutes away from the shooting camp in Richmond, Indiana. It is also more difficult and expensive to get to the camp and back to the airport when flying into the Indianapolis Airport.
Campers must make arrangements to get their own cab to camp and back to Indianapolis. The basketball camp does not provide transportation back to the Indianapolis Airport.
