Dick Baumgartner's Basketball Shooting CampWhere Great Shooters Are Made Not Born. |
We have had several parents and players ask
if we teach spin moves at our basketball shooting camps. Last year we were
probably the only camp in US to teach spin moves to both boys and girls in
grades 4th through 12th.
Players are becoming more aware of the benefits of the Spin Move.
Without a simple understanding of the breakdown of the spin move
players will have a difficult time learning the spin move. We will give you
the main teaching technique so you can learn easily and quickly to spin.
It is also very difficult to teach the spin move if the mechanics are not
really understood.
Grade 4 Through Grade 12
We can easily and quickly teach a 4th grader as well as a 12th grader how
to Spin. Our techniques and drills are so simplified and broken down so well
that anyone at our camps can learn spin moves. Once you master the basic technique
you will learn to spin easily from different areas on the floor.
Either Drive To The Basket Or Shoot An Outside
Jumper Off The Spin Move
We show and tell how to Spin and Drive to the basket from any angle on the
floor. We also show and tell how to spin and shoot an outside shot off the
spin move.
Spin Move Done Incorrectly
If the spin move is taught incorrectly, a player will spin into traffic and
run into problems more often than not. Once a player understands how to spin
correctly he or she will handle traffic when spinning and shooting. Of course,
there are better situations where a player should spin and we show these at
our shooting camps.
Spin and Pin Defensive Player With Your Body
We will show you the best angles to spin and pin your defensive player. We
will also show how to go and spin and pin the defensive center after you have
driven by your defensive player.
Join Us This Summer Of 2011
If you join us this Summer, we will give you more offensive weapons than any
other camp. The spin move is just one of the more advanced moves we teach.
We are an offensive skills camp with the emphasis on teaching shooting. --
